Line Rider

Check out the awesome flash game Line Rider if you don’t feel like getting anything done for the next hour. Basically, you draw some lines and press play, causing the little man with his little red scarf to go sledding to his doom.

Line Rider

Thanks to YouTube, there are videos of some pretty amazing tracks that people have created.

Jesus Camp

I just heard about this movie, but now I really want to see it. I can’t believe how brainwashed those kids are! My favorite quote: “When I was 5 I was saved, because I just wanted more of life”. I think when I was five the most I wanted out of life was some fun toys. Come to think of it, that’s still all I want out of life.

Scary

Wow, I guess I’m just uninformed, but I didn’t realize that the UK had already turned into 1984. I also find it especially weird and creepy the way they use the term “anti-social behavior”. If this is so obviously Orwell-esque, why doesn’t anybody seem to care enough to do anything? Maybe people actually want to live in a world where they are watched and protected? Me, I’d rather not be watched constantly, even if that means that somebody might do something anti-social some time.

iPod+Colbert

If you watch the Colbert Report on a regular basis (and you should), you’ve probably seen the green-screen contest he’s got going. The entries I’ve seen so far have all been Star Wars related, since he was originally jumping around with a plastic light saber, but I think I like this one more:

Lightning Bolt!

I’ve been yelling “lighting bolt” for years now, and this almost-too-awkward-to-watch video is why. And people think role playing games aren’t cool, go figure.

Celebrity Phone Calls

Are you tired of getting Sam Jackson to call all of your friends? Give them a call from Snoop Dog instead!

Okay, it’s not quite as customizable… but with the popularity of the Snakes on a Plane promotion, and the cheapness of long distance these days, how many of your future telemarketing calls are going to be sent to you by your friends?

Tough Decisions

I just can’t decide which to buy first: shredding scissors , or lazer scissors…. oh, who am I kidding? I mean, it’s scissors with a lazer! The only problem I can see is that I don’t think lazers (or scissors, for that matter) work the way they think they do…. what with the right-angle turns the light seems to be making in that picture and all…
